The Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development leader who thrives in consultative selling environments and knows how to turn executive conversations into long-term partnerships.
In this role, you will lead new business development efforts, build senior-level client relationships, and shape strategic consulting engagements that drive measurable outcomes for enterprise clients. This is an opportunity for a seller who wants autonomy, visibility, and the ability to build a meaningful book of business within a growing, specialized firm.
This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work remotely while also engaging in onsite client meetings, industry events, and internal collaboration as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full business development lifecycle — from prospecting and relationship-building through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Identify and pursue new opportunities within enterprise and upper–middle market organizations
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders (VP, SVP, and C-level), positioning Sunipro as a strategic partner
- Translate client business challenges into tailored consulting solutions across transformation, technology, and operational initiatives
- Lead proposal development, scope shaping, and deal strategy to drive profitable, long-term engagements
- Partner closely with delivery and leadership teams to ensure solutions are compelling, feasible, and high impact
- Contribute to go-to-market strategy and help expand Sunipro’s presence in key industries
What You Bring
- 5–8+ years of quota-carrying business development or consultative sales experience in management consulting, professional services, SaaS, or related B2B solutions
- A strong track record of generating new business and building lasting client relationships
- Experience engaging senior executives and translating complex business needs into clear, value-driven solutions
- Confidence leading strategic sales conversations, shaping opportunities, and driving deals to close
- Experience with proposal development, commercial structuring, and contract negotiation
- Strong market awareness and the ability to identify trends and opportunities within target industries
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience selling into transformation, technology, digital, or M&A-related initiatives is a strong plus.
Performance & Compensation
This role includes a competitive base salary plus commission, with significant upside tied directly to revenue performance.
While prior experience generating $1M+ in annual new business is valuable, at Sunipro this level is positioned as a high-performance target tied to additional bonus acceleration and upside, rather than a strict entry requirement. We are focused on attracting driven sellers with the ability and ambition to build toward that level of success.
